Sizing and Measurements

Placing an Order

You can order online using our secure shopping cart. Just click on “Add to Cart” when you are viewing the product you want to order. If you would rather not order online, you can fax your order to (831) 427-1375 or send email to with your information. Just be sure and send contact information with your name, email account, mailing address, and the items you have selected for your order. We do not ship orders on the weekend. If you have placed an order after noon on Friday, please expect the item to ship the following Monday.

Order Processing

We do our best to get your orders to you as quickly as possible. During the business week your order will go out the same day or next day if the product is in stock. We try to make all orders a priority so we promise to ship as quickly as we can. It normally takes 2 - 3 business days for processing your order over the weekend. If you order next day air shipping on Friday please designate Saturday delivery or your product will arrive on Monday. All next day air orders must be received by 10:30 am to go out that day.

Sales Tax

Walkabout Harnesses is required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipped to California residences.


We normally ship via UPS for emergency orders. These orders have a guaranteed delivery time with tracking.

We ship USPS for first class( 5-7 days ), priority (2-3 days) and express shipping (2 days). First class shipping can be a very slow choice. Be aware that it may take 10 days.

Orders are usually shipped out the same or next day. Shipping charges are calculated by weight and destination.

              * PLEASE BE ADVISED IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY AND NEED THE PRODUCT IN A HURRY USE UPS. This service costs more but it is the most reliable. 

USPS will give approximate delivery times. They are not as reliable as they should be. Walkabout will not be held responsible for false shipping claims indicated by USPS 

We ship to EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD!!  *Enter in your country on the order form and shipping will be calculated. If you purchase the harness to be shipped overseas, the customer will need to pay the duties on your package.  PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING OVERSEAS, WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL BE INCURRED WITH COUNTRY DUTY. BUT BE PREPARED FOR THAT  ADDITIONAL COST WHEN PURCHASING.


Refunds do not include shipping charges. Please allow two weeks from the time of the return to process your refund

PLEASE DO NOT RETURN A PRODUCT WITH HAIR ON IT. TAKE THE TIME TO CLEAN THE HAIR OFF.  Take the time to return the product in NEW condition.  Walkabout reserves the right to refuse to refund any products in which no attempt has been made to clean a product being returned. There will be a $5.00 cleaning fee on all products returned with hair.


Customers have 15 days to return or exchange an item that has only been "tryed on" and cleaned thoroughly before return. DO NOT WASH THE PRODUCT .  We will not be able to refund a soiled product. That includes products that are returned with hair on them*. Use tape to remove hair from the products you wish to return. A wire brush may be used to loosen hair in the velcro. The refund will be issued to new/unused products. If we feel the product is not in NEW condition it will be returned to you.

 WALKABOUT will gladly refund a product If the product is NEW and UNUSED. *Hair on returned products may receive a refund but be subject to a $5.00 CLEANING FEE. These products will require time by our staff to be cleaned. Walkabout Harnesses will charge the $5.00 cleaning fee on all DIRTY and UNCLEANED returns. Products returned stained will be returned to the customer.

THE INVOICE COPY IS TO BE INCLUDED WITH ALL RETURNS FOR CREDIT. RETURN THE PRODUCT FOR EXCHANGE OR RETURN/FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK INCLUDED WITH YOUR PRODUCT. If you don't have the invoice, please put your name and address and order number on the piece of paper.

Refunds are not available for any "CUSTOM" items. This includes amputee harnesses, the suspenders to be added onto Walkabout rear OR OTHER MODIFICATIONS SUCH AS DETACHEABLE HANDLES.  If you have questions about adding the suspenders on, please give me a call!! Cathy 800-779-0439
